Drop-in Programs

Community Kitchen Series

Building Welcoming and Inclusive Neighbourhood Initiative. Four different community kitchens are currently running at the Hub to provide residents in the community a place to learn about preparing healthy meals, to share life stories and to make friends.

The Community Kitchen Series is made possible by the funding provided by the Ministry of the Attorney General for the Building Welcoming and Inclusive Neighbourhoods project, a 3-year initiative of a coalition of neighbourhood houses.

Community Dinner

Every 2nd Saturday of each month, Oak Avenue Keystone Mission hosts a free meal (drop-in) for the community at the Hub. A full meal is served. Doors open at 4:00pm and dinner is served at 4:30pm.

Whalley Family Place

A drop-in program for families with young children on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, operated by OPTIONS. More info available at 604-580-2344.

Mother Goose

The parent-child Mother Goose program is offered at the Hub operated by OPTIONS. The program runs every Tuesday morning. More information please call 604-580-2344.

Income Tax Clinic

A FREE income tax filing service for low income families and individuals. Wednesdays & Thursdays, from March to April 2012. Please phone the Hub to book your appointment.
