The Hub has been involved with the Surrey Food Bank FairStart Project since year 2008. 
The Hub provides the space and arranges volunteers to sort and pack donated basic school supplies gathered by the Surrey Food Bank for children of their registered cients in Surrey and North Delta during the last two weeks prior to the start of school to September.
For year 2009, we sorted and packed in total 1250 backpacks - 425 units for primary, 350 units for intermediate, 425 units for high school group.
