Whalley Family Place

What is Family Place?
A partner with the Hub

It is a fun, child friendly place for families to come to play and meet each each other. Children ages 0 to 6 years old are invited to participate in age appropriate activities such as songs, art activiites and playtime with other children.

For parents and caregivers it can also be an opportunity to socialize, volunteer, have access to learning materials and learn about other community resources. We welcome parents and caregivers to unwind with a cup of coffee and some snacks and have a chance to share mutual experiences with their children and other families.

Our goal

To support families, empower parents and encourage connections with other families.

How the program works

This is a drop-in program. No registration is required.
Parents/caregivers and children attend together.
Attendance is voluntary.
You can come for all or only part of the drop-in program.
Program staff, program participants and a management team decide what additional workshops or programs will be offered.
There is an optional $1 donation per visit.
The programs are run at the HUB and two other locations.

Come play and have fun.
